Is COVE open 24 hours?
Our Delaware hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency and urgent veterinary care. Our Columbus / Clintonville hospital is open every day from 8 AM to midnight. For overnight emergency care, visit Delaware.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed for emergency or urgent care at either COVE hospital during its open hours. You can walk in or call before you arrive. Specialty services have their own appointment and referral process; visit the relevant service page for details.
Which COVE hospital should I visit?
Choose Delaware at 585 Sunbury Road or Columbus / Clintonville at 3134 North High Street, based on which is closest and open. Delaware is open 24/7; Clintonville is open 8 AM–midnight daily. Call a hospital if you need help deciding where to go.
Will my pet be seen right away?
Pets are assessed on arrival, and the most seriously ill or injured patients are treated first. Wait times vary with the needs of pets in the hospital. Learn how emergency triage and wait times work.
