Veterinarian
Danielle LaVecchio, DVM, is an associate emergency veterinarian at COVE. Dr. LaVecchio graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2002 with a degree in Animal Biosciences. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2006.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. LaVecchio completed a general rotating internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island.
Over the course of her career, Dr. LaVecchio has worked in general practice, was the medical director of the Franklin County Dog Shelter, and most recently, has spent over ten years in Emergency Medicine. She joined the COVE family in 2023.

Dr. LaVecchio volunteered with the OSU blood bank, and authored a paper featured in JAVMA, Serum Cardiac Troponin Concentration in Retired Racing Greyhounds, January 2009.
