Veterinarian
Kyle Connole, DVM is an emergency and critical care veterinarian at COVE. He completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University then went on to complete his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. After graduation, he completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Wheatridge Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Following which he moved back to Columbus to work for several years in emergency and critical care in a large veterinary referral center before he found his way to COVE when it opened. Dr. Connole has performed additional continuing education hours on utilizing point-of-care ultrasonography for emergency settings. He is certified in RECOVER advanced and basic life saving CPR procedures. He is a member of the OVMA, AVMA, and VECCS professional organizations.
Dr Connole’s professional interest within the ER focus around stabilization and management of the critically ill patient, utilization of point-of-care diagnostic techniques in aiding quick diagnoses for his patients, and emergent immune-mediated and endocrine diseases. Dr. Connoleprides himself on having clear, direct, and relatable conversations with his clients to ensure they understand their pet’s diagnosis and options available to them. There is nothing more rewarding to him than seeing his patients walk out the ER door to continue their recovery at home and be with their families.
