Byron Hamilton

Veterinarian
Byron Hamilton, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian. Dr. Hamilton earned his undergraduate and post-baccalaureate degrees from Guilford College and then went on to earn his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, he completed the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program at MedVet – Worthington. After completing this program, he joined the Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency team.
Dr. Hamilton is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. His certificates include RECOVER and Fear Free certified.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Hamilton has special interest in emergency trauma, soft tissue surgery, and point of care ultrasound imaging for critically ill patients. The most rewarding part of his job his helping owners understand the intricacies of emergency medicine and assisting them through emergency situations with their pets.
