Jo Colliton

A 2007 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School, she became a Registered Veterinary Technician after successfully passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam. With nearly two decades of experience, she has worked extensively in both general practice and emergency/specialty medicine. Her career has included leadership roles such as lead technician, office manager, and hospital director.  She has also proudly served as the District IV Representative for the Ohio Association of Veterinary Technicians in the past.

Her professional interests include emergency medicine, anesthesia, surgery, ultrasonography, mentorship, and the continued growth and development of veterinary professionals. She is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while supporting and empowering her veterinary team.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their two dogs—Pippa, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and Dale, a Great Dane mix. In her free time, she can often be found outdoors, playing frisbee golf, gardening, or crafting.
