Veterinarian
Kelly Bowman DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at COVE. Dr. Bowman attended the University of Findlay where she earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Animal Science.
She then went on to earn her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Bowman completed a one-year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at MedVet Akron.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Bowman’s career has been focused on emergency and critical care medicine. She enjoys the fast-paced and diverse environment that is emergency medicine with special interests in trauma, wound and pain management, and most notably diagnostic imaging. She is passionate about the imperative role imaging plays in gaining quick and accurate diagnoses. Her research in veterinary school revolved around utilizing computed tomography (CT) to investigate pulmonary changes associated with patient positioning. The most rewarding part of her job is being an advocate for an animal’s well-being and witnessing the excitement of families when they are reunited with their beloved pets after a crisis.
